Welcome to the Fathers for Equal Rights, Inc. (FER) website. Please take a moment to read this brief introduction so that you and your children (or grandchildren) can benefit as much as possible from your visit today and in the future.

Fathers for Equal Rights, Inc. (FER), is located in Dallas, Texas, with offices in both Dallas and Fort Worth. We are one of the largest and most active fathers' rights organizations in the U.S. FER is a 38 year old, non-profit education and civil rights organization, recognized as a 501 (c) (3) organization by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. (So, if you want to make a charitable contribution, it may qualify for a tax deduction!) We receive no government grants of any kind, so we depend primarily upon walk-in and online members for our revenue. While we usually have one or two attorneys on our Board of Directors, we are not controlled or managed by lawyers. We are dads, just like you.

Our website, which you are looking at, is our effort to assist fathers, children, and families beyond our walk-in offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. Through the Internet we can now share our knowledge and empower fathers around the corner and around the world.

Fathers for Equal Rights, Inc. now has two types of membership available to our website visitors: our Free Membership and our Premium Membership. (These are separate from our Dallas and Fort Worth office memberships.) I want to encourage each and every one of you to purchase a Premium Membership. Our Premium Membership is an incredible breakthrough educational tool (see some of the benefits below). The cost is only $50.00 for an entire year (That's less than 15 minutes of time with most family law attorneys!!), and the benefits are truly incredible.

For starters, as a Premium Member, you will be able to direct an unlimited number of questions to licensed attorneys from the comfort and privacy of your home or office. And, most important, you will actually receive an answer!

You can listen to any or all of our growing library of important titles at your leisure. You may even want to record a course of your own, which we will consider making available to our Premium Members worldwide.

As you register for the first time, whether you choose a Free Membership or Premium Membership, you will be asked to complete a brief, confidential questionnaire about you, your children, and your case. Providing this confidential information is optional of course, however it will help us plan new father-friendly features based on interest and needs in various parts of the U.S. and the world! Also, by knowing in what city, state or country you reside, we hope to be able to help fathers and their friends locate needed support or fathers' rights organizations and services. So, by telling us a bit about yourself and your situation it increases the chance that we can provide useful information for you and your children.
