Most people find us because they’re facing a hard situation involving their kids. Our team has counseled thousands of members over the years, and we’ve seen the same formula work again and again: knowledge, hard work, and love for your children. We hope this site gives you both — the knowledge, and the courage to use it.

What we do
Education is at the center of everything we do. We help parents:
- Become equal parents
- Understand their parental rights and pursue fair court outcomes
- Be better parents
- Provide a stable, two-home environment for their children
- Coordinate activities across two homes
- Navigate stepparent and stepchild relationships
We also work to strengthen the wider community by:
- Advocating that children need both parents in their lives
- Maintaining constructive relationships with family courts
- Monitoring court proceedings
- Tracking relevant local, state, and national legislation
- Sharing information and building networks online and in person
- Partnering with other community organizations
- Countering negative stereotypes of fathers
- Promoting healthy marriages and family life
What we’re working toward
We push for legislative change that treats parents equitably and protects children, including:
- A child’s right to a full, positive relationship with both parents
- A child’s right to support from both parents
- A child’s right to be treated as a person, not a bargaining chip
- A child’s right to day-to-day love, care, and protection from both parents
- Fair, equal sharing of the costs of divorce and custody proceedings
- Support amounts based on each parent’s ability to pay, with clear accounting for how the money is spent
- Courts accounting for the cost of maintaining two homes when setting support orders
