By joining Fathers for Equal Rights (FER), you agree to the following:

  • FER and its affiliate, the National Fathers’ Resource Center (NFRC), are voluntary membership organizations that share information — we don’t provide legal advice or legal services through our websites.
  • Everything on our websites is general information, not a professional assessment of your specific situation, and not legal or mental-health advice.
  • We aren’t responsible for the products, services, or advice of outside advertisers, linked sites, or resources we list.
  • You confirm you’ve obtained (or will seek) legal counsel from a licensed attorney for your specific case, separate from general information on this site.
  • You agree to seek medical or mental-health advice from a licensed provider when needed.
  • You release FER, NFRC, and their staff, directors, and volunteers from liability related to your use of the website or our services, and agree that any dispute is handled under Texas law in Denton County.
  • You must be at least 18 to register on your own behalf; a parent or guardian must request membership for anyone younger.
  • We ask that you keep communications with FER and NFRC respectful — no hateful, obscene, or slanderous language toward any person or organization.
  • Membership can be canceled at FER’s discretion if it’s in the best interest of the organization or its members.

Questions about these terms can be directed to the FER office at 614 S. Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, Texas 75067, or (214) 953-2233.
