Weekend Action Picks For KidsTime to think of activities and plan for what to do on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend February 17, 18, 19. Motivate your kids by taking them to one or more of the new events going on this weekend; and get extra help with chores around the house to make sure it happens. From Drums, Sesame Street and Olympian gymnasts, to Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, be sure to challenge your kids with activities that will help them to learn as well as have fun. Remember to bring the camera!!

Keep your senses challenged every weeked. Hearing, running, seeing, watching, playing, working, volunteering, eating, swimming, driving, bicycling, resting, and cooking. The sky is the limit every weekend here in Dallas and Ft. Worth. See you there.

May We Have A Drumroll, Please! - Noone really needs a drum set at home when you can go and hear the best. You’ve got brooms, metal garbage cans and shopping carts to start. Be sure to watch the eight-member troupe of Stomp bring the back alley-style jam session to the Music Hall stage in Dallas tonight through Sunday. Tickets from $15.

Fun In The Land of Miles and Honey - OK, here is your honey do list for the entire family: a trail run through Denton’s Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center, honey tastings and an intro to beekeeping workshop. Free is always a great deal, take a chance this on Saturday morning at the Honey Run.    

Sing Along With Sesame Street Smarts - Alright now, where did all the instruments go? MIA means all you toddlers can get inventive with trash can lids and cookie jars. Sing along with Sesame Street Live – Elmo Makes Music Friday–Sunday in Grand Prairie. Tickets from $20.    

The Call To Gymnasts Is Whoa, Nastia! - Did you know Dallas-Fort Worth is home to Olympians Nastia Liukin and Carly Patterson? This weekend stop by and get their autographs in your autograph books or favorite t-shirts, and see the next generation in action at the WOGA Classic Gymnastics Competition Saturday evening in Frisco. $25 adults; $15 kids. Make it an all day thing.    

Let's Go Exploring With Dora la Exploradora - It's all about Dora's picks for fun this weekend. Dora’s favorite animal amigos jump from the small screen to a big exhibit at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Take the niños to Dora and Diego – Let’s Explore opening this Saturday. $15 adults; $12 kids.
